OAKLAND, Calif. (KRON) – Police in Oakland are investigating three shootings that happened on Monday, one of which killed two victims.
The first shooting, which involved two victims, was reported around 3:15 p.m. in the 3400 block of 68th Avenue, according to the police department.
Both of the victims were pronounced dead on the scene, officials say.
Around 3:22 p.m., the US Marshals Task Force responded to the 2500 block of Fruitvale Avenue to serve a criminal arrest warrant.
A shooting occurred during this warrant which involved an officer.
The third shooting happened around 5:14 p.m.
Officers received multiple reports of a shooting in the 3300 block of E. 12th Street and arrived to find three victims — One was in critical condition and two are in stable condition.
No other details have been released at this time on these shootings.
