SAUSALITO, Calif. (KRON) — Crews are responding to a brush fire in Sausalito Sunday evening, authorities said.
The fire has burned four to five acres with a slow rate of spread and officials said there is no threat to the community at this time.
Crews from the Southern Marin Fire District first responded to the fire burning north of Hawk Hill.
Additional Marin County Fire agencies reported to the scene to assist with the fire.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, but authorities said US Park Rangers are working on identifying suspects.
The fire was reported around 7:30 p.m. on Conzelman Road.
Officials are asking the public to avoid the area and said they will give more information at a later time.
