Japan’s Momiji Nishiya has won a gold medal at the age of 13 in the Olympic women’s street skateboarding competition.

Brazil’s Rayssa Leal secured the silver medal, while Funa Nakayama of Japan won bronze.

Nishiya finished with a score of 15.26 to secure gold, beating Leal’s score of 14.64. Nakayama took bronze with a score of 14.49.

On Sunday, Japan’s Yuto Horigome won gold in the men’s street skateboarding, which made its Olympic debut this year.
