St. Croix Prep’s baseball team scored three runs in the first inning and another five in the fourth on Tuesday as the Lions beat St. Paul Washington 10-0 in five innings.
Sophomore Wrigley Miller threw five scoreless innings, allowing five hits and surrendering one walk for the Lions (5-3) against Washington (1-7).
Teige Lether, Ryan Parratt and Sam Johnson drove in two runs each.
Spring Lake Park 13 / Osseo 12: Spring Lake Park scored 10 runs in the bottom of the seventh to stun Osseo. Mason Donahue hit the walk-off to give the Panthers the win. With the win, Spring Lake Park (5-4) has won three in a row to bring its record above .500.

Spring Lake Park 14 / Osseo 4: The softball team put up similar offensive numbers to their baseball counterparts, but the Panthers had the pitching to go with it as thy beat Osseo (3-5). Audrey Benderski and Ashlyn Peterson each homered as Spring Lake Park (4-4) took a quick 12-0 lead. Peterson finished with three RBIs as did Larrissa Snyder, who tripled. Starting pitcher Jenna Nusbaum is credited with the win, giving up one earned run in three innings.
Tartan 2 / North St. Paul 1: After losing to North St. Paul 10-0 last week, Tartan rebounded in dramatic fashion scoring in the top of the tenth to beat North. Tartan scored once in the bottom of the first, and North (7-3) scored its lone run in the third before each team went quiet until Tartan (6-3) won it in the 10th.
Other softball scores: Shakopee beat Minnetonka 6-4; Visitation beat St. Croix Lutheran 18-2; Henry Sibley beat South St. Paul 5-3; Mahtomedi beat Hastings 1-0; Simley beat Hill-Murray 12-5.
St. Paul Academy beat Minnehaha Academy 168-174 in a dual meet at Fort Snelling Golf Course, St. Paul Academy’s Connor Overgaard shot a 3-over-par 38 to finish as the medalist.
Mahtomedi bested Simley and Henry Sibley in a three-team match with a score of 154 at Oneka Ridge Golf Course. Mahtomedi’s Grant Cegielski finished with the low score of 1-over 37.
St. Thomas Academy and Hill-Murray tied for first in a three-team match with Hastings with a score of 156 at Keller Golf Course. St. Thomas Academy’s Colin Dalseth finished as the medalist with a 2-under 34.
Highland Park topped Humboldt in a nine-hole dual with a score of 170-244 at Highland National. Highland Park’s Jack Malek finished as the medalist with a score of 2-over 38.
Girls golf: Hastings beat Hill-Murray with a score of 182 at Hidden Greens Golf Course in Hastings. Hastings’ Megan Brown finished as the medalist with a 7-over 43.
Boys tennis: Woodbury beat White Bear Lake 5-2. Woodbury’s Bogdan Vizoli won the No. 1 singles match over Will Fleming 6-2, 6-3. Woodbury won the top-three singles matches in straight sets, along with the No. 1 and 3 doubles matches.
