Gophers add transfer guard Sean Sutherlin from New Hampshire

The Gophers men’s basketball program added Minnesota native and New Hampshire transfer Sean Sutherlin on Sunday.

Stemming a stream of departures from the 2020-21 roster, Minnesota added a New Brighton and Irondale High School alum who averaged 12.8 points and 9.3 rebounds during his freshman season at New Hampshire last season.

“I’m coming home,” Sutherlin tweeted.

With up to 10 players departing from last year’s roster, Minnesota has made its fourth addition, with Jamison Battle (George Washington), Luke Loewe (William and Mary) and E.J. Stephens (Lafayette).
