The Grammy Awards 2021 was a far more low-ley affair than in previous years due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but the stars that were able to be there on the night served serious looks on the red carpet.
The 63rd Grammy Awards, which were held in Los Angeles without an audience for the first time ever, still saw a handful of performers and nominees don their finery to pose up on the red carpet.
From BTS to Lizzo, Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell and Megan The Stallion, the stars made sure to keep their distance from one another both on and off the stage.
Here’s who lead the red carpet looks at the 2021 Grammy Awards:
BTS may have sadly missed out on taking an award home on the night, but the band showed up ready to serve on the red carpet nonetheless, rocking coordinated black, white and tan suits.
Never one to bow to convention, Billie Eilish donned a patterned two-piece with a matching hat and face mask to protect against the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Making sure her statement nails were visible, Billie wore fingerless gloves and kept comfy with chunky white trainers ahead of her performance.
Taylor Swift went for a striking floral number for her red carpet ensemble, paired with pink heels which tied up at the ankle.
The singer kept her hair simple to allow the minidress to do all the talking, as well as keeping her make up minimal for the occasion.
Dua wore nothing but fishnet and sparkles as she posed up on the red carpet in front of the waiting photographers.
The bodice of Dua’s stunning look also appeared to be in the shape of a butterfly, embossed with beads and diamantes.
Lizzo channeled mermaid chic for her red carpet appearance, rocking a fishtail minidress in a shimmering mint green material with matching jewellery and scrappy heels.
Megan Thee Stallion
Megan Thee Stallion has awards show dressing down to a fine art – and it’s just as well as she became a multiple Grammy award winner on the night.
The rapper went for a fitted orange number with a daring thigh split, bejewelled heels and diamond jewellery.
Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars
Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars chose vintage-inspired looks, complete with flares, as they made their red carpet debut as Silk Sonic.
While Anderson chose a patterned blazer, Bruno went for black and red with a ruffled prom-style shirt and large rose on his lapel.
Doja Cat appeared to pay tribute to Jennifer Lopez’s iconic green gown with a plunge to the navel as she took to the red carpet in a green and black feathered creation.
Pink was the order of the day for Finneas, who posed up on the red carpet in this unique suit with large black lapels.
Miranda Lambert glittered on the red carpet in a silver patterned gown with black shoes and a green clutch bag for a pop of colour.
Noah Cyrus made sure all eyes were on her with this dramatic dress with oversized sleeves and collar.
Although the dress itself was understated, the sheer size of the add-ons made sure there was no missing Noah.
Him kept it low-key bur made sure to match the colour of their outfits on the night, posing up with their classic poker straight locks and baby blue ensembles.
Phoebe Bridgers combined Halloween and the Grammys for her red carpet look, which appeared to be inspired by trick or treating costumes.
While it was definitely one of the more unusual looks of the night, Phoebe pulled it off with style.
H.E.R. went for this regal look, rocking purple velvet with matching sunglasses and simple jewellery.
There was nothing understated about DaBaby’s red carpet look, but he pulled it off in spectacular style.
From his floral two-piece to the two-tone hat, DaBaby proved that more really is more when it comes to red carpet outfits.
