A five-alarm fire in Worcester has left two people dead and another who had to jump from the flames injured, a fire deputy told reporters late Friday night.
The firefighters were still at the scene on Jaques Avenue late into the night as the fire was knocked down, but the scene remained active.
The fire deputy told members of the press at the scene that the call first came in at 7:25 p.m. and that porches on adjacent triple-deckers had caught fire. Flames could be seen early on.
This is a developing story …
