Circus Juventas’ live show is back on for in-person audiences

Circus Juventas’ winter show, which was supposed take place in December, is back on. With the loosening of COVID-19 restrictions in Minnesota, “A Hygge Holiday” will be presented to in-person audiences in five performances between Jan. 28 and 31 under the youth performing arts circus school’s big top at 1270 Montreal Ave., St. Paul.

“The air flow inside the big top is as close to being outside as you can get,” said Dan Butler, co-founder and executive director of Circus Juventas in a news release. “We have 90,000 cubic feet of space, new HEPA filters, a 40-foot ceiling and numerous industrial fans.”

Tickets are $30 for children and $40 for adults and go on sale Monday, Jan. 11, through Ticketworks. Ticketholders for the December shows can exchange their tickets for the new performance dates.

Audience face masks will be required and seating will be distanced, with a minimum of six feet between groups. The show runs 70 minutes without intermission and no concessions will be sold. For more information about Circus Juventas, go to circusjuventas.org.
