Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) is set to be at the centre of a new Emmerdale story that sees the character set her sights on Home Farm.
Gabby has proven that she’ll do whatever it takes to get what she wants, and that’s something that Kim Tate (Claire King) would no doubt admire.
The young woman is determined, that’s for sure, and it seems as if she’s got Home Farm in her sights.
Speaking about what’s to come, actress Rosie Bentham said: ‘Gabby has had her fair share of trouble over the past year, but if she’s hoping 2021 is going to be a more settled year, she can think again.
‘I’m excited that Gabby is at the heart of the village as she sets her sights on Home Farm and I can tell you this year is going to hold even more drama for Gabby than ever.’
Will Kim perhaps recognise something of herself in the young and cunning girl? If so, could this be the beginning of a dastardly new partnership? Or will Kim feel threatened and therefore set out to destroy Gabby?
This is one of several new stories centring on the youth of the village that will feature in the ITV soap during 2021.
Executive Producer Jane Hudson said: ‘We are so lucky to have such a talented group of young actors who can deliver some of our biggest storylines. It’s exciting to watch characters grow up and see how they develop and how their actions shape their futures.
‘And there is plenty of action coming up which will take the young Emmerdale characters on journeys the audience won’t be expecting.’
